Vietnamese Miss, Nguyen Tran Huyen My met with her Myanmar fans on June 30, 2016 at Shwe Sin restaurant in Yangon. She left Yangon for Vietnam on the same day after meeting with her fans. Nguyen Tran Huyen My will star in Myanmar Movie together with Nay Toe and Khin Wint Wah on March 2017.

“The 100 Cinemas Project & Business Proposal” Presser was held on July 1, 2016 at Studio 35 in Yangon. According to this program, Myanmar movie lovers would see the revitalization of Myanmar's cinema infrastructure, with plans to build 100 cinemas around the country in the coming months. The 100 Cinemas Project was launched by MAZE company by partnering with KBZ Bank for funding the project. The first two new cinemas are planned to be build in the Shan town on Aungban, and the Taikkyi township in Yangon.

The funeral ceremony of Poe Sandar Khin, Top 5 Contestant of Miss Myanmar World 2016, was taken place at Yay Way Cemetery in Yangon on July 4, 2016. Poe Sandar Khin died on July 2, while she was exercising at the gym. 
"Babience" Baby Care product launch was held on July 6, 2016 at Novotel Yangon Max Hotel in Yangon. Former well-known model & actress, Melody and her son participated in the event as the brand ambassador of "Babience", which is produced by LG Household & Health Care in Korea. Melody said that she will resume her acting career soon. 
Kin Kaung, Myanmar well-known comedian and comedy actor, entered monk-hood for (5) days at Zaya Tu Buddhist Religious Centre in Yangon. Kin Kaung, 52, said that he decided to be a monk for five days to fulfilled his mother's wish.
